This is a 1965 edition of "The Story of the F.B.I." written by Earl Schenck Miers and illustrated with photographs. It is a 48 page paperback copyrighted and published by Wonder Books, a Division of Grosset & Dunlap, Inc. - Library of Congress Catalog Card 65-21505
At the time of this publishing, J. Edgar Hoover was the Director of the F.B.I., and the current mode of intelligence was the use of fingerprint pattern analysis, which was done by an individual with two prints and a magnifying glass.
