I stumbled across this at a sale and thought it to be antique but if not please tell me. I can not find any marks on it but the bottom is rough.
It is 1 gallon. It's glazed inside. Wondering if it would of had a lid at one time? Both ears are fine. No cracks just a small flaw on the bottom and shown in the photo. Any idea of the age?
    Any information appreciated.
    Thanks.

It did have a lid at one time. That is, I believe, a Robinson Ransbottom Crock.
