    I wonder where this rocker was made. My great grandfather had it in Florida and it is over 100 yr old. The shape of the left arm makes it a man's rocker because when rocking in the chair, a man can put his leg over the rocker's arm.

      Are you looking for the original maker or the person who did the patch job and put the metal L iron under the right arm?

      yeah, that 'repair' made it stronger, but actually probably ruined it value-wise. I just wondered where it was made.....no one I know has ever seen a rocker like this. it's a very nice rocker, especially for its age, and is well used.

      It's another version of a Plantation chair. This one being Canadian.
