      Definitely a table. Likely to put your household Buddha on. It's really pretty.

      The top looks like Asian designs. The base and feet don't seem to agree. I also wonder about time and space as they see it. Normally there wouldn't be so much wasted (open) space, it would be a continual scene that covered the entire table proper.

      Ah! So it's a "TV tray table" with faux Asian design :) I like it regardless it's an antique or not. Thank ya'll!

      Thanks for the comment. The legs do not lift off. It belonged to my late mother in law, who had been all over the world. So we had no idea where this could be from.
