These are small wooden barrels made in Japan with hand carved men playing different instruments. The barrels are 1" tall. Does anyone know anything of the history of these little miniature collectibles? Thank you so much in advance for your help. Someone told me they thought they were called monopods but I have been unsuccessful in finding any information with that name.
