    The Hemingray 42 was one of Hemingray's most popular and prolific insulators. These were manufactured by the millions, so most are extremely common. This style replaced the also-popular Hemingray No.40 (CD 152) in 1921.

      I saw some of these when I was in the US last year and regret I didn't buy one - nice piece of 'industrial glass' and pretty colour too! The conditions seems to be good - many I saw had quite a few chips.

      Love this... hate to say... but couldn't count how many, as a youngster, I broke with a 22 rifle on the old rail road right-of-way
