I have a set of these Banana Headrest Chairs. I have not been able to find out anything about them. They are from about 1960-65. They have been recovered once. They do not have any markings or maker listed on them.
If anyone knows anything about them, please HELP!

I believe the desinger is Sven Ivar Dysthe; the maker is Dokka, a norwegian furniture maker no longer in existence. The chair you have is very similar to his 1960 model 1001, also known as The Diplomat (I think). I believe it won a design contest. I have a similar chair in rosewood and leather.. I am missing the footstool and the banana headrest. You are lucky to have a complete set. Check out this link: http://www.dysthedesign.no/index.html. It is in Norwegian.
Thank you so much for the information. That is the first I have been able to find them. I appreciate your help.
