So I spent late morning today with Brett from Art Encounter. All you fans of Pawn Stars will know who he is. Rick always uses him to authenticate art brought to his store. A very kind & affable man who postponed his lunch as I arrived early due to hassle free traffic. I am very happy to relay that all my paintings are original & genuine. The Jose Maria De Servin art is far less valuable, ranging in the hundreds, but this is the gem of the lot! Brett recommended Saffron Art as this type of painting will only appeal to a certain clientele, On saffron they range from $5000 to $15,000 for paintings of this nature. please don't take this as a brag, I'm just very happy!

Manikin, I tried to get on the show twice, they never contacted me. I decided due to my lack of knowledge to have them appraised by Brett, the one Rick calls in to check on his art. Who better then to ask? He is A wonderful & kind man with very reasonable rates. So I'm very happy about the value, however disappointed though not surprised that I won't be on the show!

I love anything original too and I've posted most of it :)....Prints, paintings and watercolors. You are so lucky to have such an expert locally. I may be sitting on a gold mine and never even know it...lol.

Thanks to all for your good wishes! Manikin, yes I live in Vegas so I tried to get on Pawn Stars, I thought it would be fun. I've met Mark twice, he's the one from Clark County Museum that Rick uses & also a very nice & approachable man, once at his museum which I've been going to for years & the first time standing in line behind me at the store.
Thanks, Phil, you're very sweet to say so. I'm POSITIVE you would not get burned with your eye for art, & you're right about the show. It would have been fun, but just the fact that I was lucky & had the good sense to buy this is enough to make me happy.
