Found this old time photo of a family out for a ride in something. Probably somewhere in Minnesota. I’m guessing this is a custom modified Oldsmobile car or truck chassis or did Olds actually produce a covered wagon like vehicle like this at some point.
It looks like a circa 1919 "Model T" Truck - the top is actually metal (you can even see the pinstripe design on the paint). The side cover panels were a roll-up material, probably a heavy canvas. - Incidentally, the truck used in the Beverly Hillbillies TV show was a modified 1921 Oldsmobile truck.
Olds Economy Truck 1919-1923
"The Oldsmobile Economy was a truck produced from 1919 through 1923. The model was rated as a 1-ton. Available body styles were cab-chassis, a stripped chassis, and curtain-side bodies. The engines were made by Northway Engine Works. They were 227 c.i.d. 4-cylinders and rated at 40 h.p."

I like that Walks. "Top speed 22 mph" and they named it "Rocket"! Guess perception changes with the times.
Awesome photo. I have the model kit of the Beverly Hillbillies Olds truck, lol
Blunderbuss2, I don't think the Rocket name came until 1949-50 for the new V-8 engine.
Az, you burst another of my bubbles!
Oldsmobubbles ??
Have to admit, you are rather quick.
