Recently inherited this fantastic 1971 Blazon carousel horse! Found one that was a different year but no value at all!! I can find several of the rocking horses, I have one, but not one single carousel horse like this! Minor wear and tear, easy fixes! The stand is a vintage brass and marble clawfoot lamp base, standing 4' tall. The horse is 3' x 2' (front feet to head) & 19" (hind legs to top of back) x 10" or so wide. Fabulous horse!!! Ok, I think that I've found out a key piece of information. Lol it DID used to be a rocking horse! Someone filled the bar and handle bar holes, smoothed and painted it. So now I just have to figure out how to find the value of a converted horse!?!? The base is solid brass and marble, with a hole to run a cord and make it into a lamp. Claw feet, very decorative design!
