      Zippo.com I think that's the site. You'll find all the info you need there about all the Zippo's they've ever made. Your date will be the markings on the bottom of the lighter on both sides of the word Zippo. Also, you should be able to take out the middle part, carefully, and it should have Zippo etc engraved on the sides of that part too.

      I couldn't stand it, I went there. And as I thought, it's from the 70's. Just type in Zippo id code dates. That should get you where you need to be.
