Hello, I was just wondering if anyone can help me identify what type of figurine this is as well what its approximate value would be. It was my grandmother's and has been around since the 30's.

How gracious! What is the size? You can add pic of the bottom.

Thanks for the comment. She stands about 14.5 inches tall. There is nothing stamped or engraved on the bottom, only the few inscriptions at the rear of the base.

Is it metal, ceramic or chalk ware?

I always thought it was ceramic, but I'm not really sure what chalk ware is? I'll post a picture of the bottom, perhaps that is what Kyratango was getting at. Its definitely not metal though.
