This is circa later 1830s-1840s and was likely a spice bottle, albeit it may have held a medicine.
Albeit the flared lip is a bit chipped, the bottle is in very decent condition considering it's over 170 years old and was meant to be thrown away.
Glass is very thin on one side. Sometimes I wonder how they survived.

Recently on e-Bay I purchased an undamaged embossed pontiled soda bottle. I'm waiting for it to arrive, albeit I'm just going to resell it for higher in a few months. LOL. I'll post it in a week, I'm sure.
