I am restoring an old gas station in Windsor California and have only this photo to go from. I would like to purchase the pumps (in unrestored condition) and any other items/props you guys think would fit. And can someone tell me what the sign said on the front post? Is it a water hose?
    Thanks

I think it does say "OPEN" - you're right. Another question: would one pump be face one way (for cars pulling under portico) and the other pump face out toward steet?

Says "BEER" but I don't remember ever stopping there.

What a wonderful project!! You must be sooo excited about that!! Is the structure still standing? I assume that is a old vintage photo you have, is it a real photo post-card? I wish you the best of luck finding all the things and then some!!

I'll post more pics -- current pics. It's all there but the gas paraphernalia. I think it would make a great barber shop.

      They date it circa 1935.
