Picked this up on an estate sale today for 15 bucks and I am totally in love with it! The canvas is in great shape, just really impressed with the overall condition:)
I'm very new in the world of trunk collecting so I would LOVE any feedback anyone would have to offer on this piece, as I have very little knowledge on the subject.. one thing for sure though, is that this was a bargain for such a cool piece of history!!

Welcome to the world of trunks! You have a nice early 1900's flat top trunk in good condition. This style and form was made by many makers of that time so without a makers label hard to know. You have a nice trunk at a great price-- fun fun fun!

Thanks, Trunk dude!! Appreciate the comment, I'll have to look a bit harder to see if I can find a label or something indicating the maker.. didn't have too much time to check it over, as soon as I bought this I had to drive it to my folks so the hubby wouldn't see it-he would not be impressed. BAHAHA! ????

Oh love trunk-dude... couldn't change my moniker without having repost everything. Let's not talk about stashed trunks hidden from hubby... lol!

Sorry folks...the handle is already in use. In fact, I ran the website trunkdude.com for 8-10 years and have plans to re-launch it soon with new ideas and photos. I'll keep you posted.

I like your little trunk, Briarrose...bought its twin at an upstate NY flea market last week for $5. I'll post a photo of my finished product when complete.
