    This is my find of the day: It is a very old, possibly Victorian, thorn vase. It is rather different from any I have seen before. What really sets it apart is the base. I find it very unusual, especially for thorn vases. The vase is very small: Only about 6 1/2 inches. he vase has a nicely polished pontil.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
