Stumbled onto your comment on Dave Youngdahl’s seagull painting... my grandma was telling me the story of how she had her favorite painting commissioned by a man named Youngdahl after meeting in Lake Tahoe — he asked what she would like and she said she loves the coast and trees on cliffs.. I’ve seen and loved this painting my whole life, she’s had it on the wall of her home in soquel for 20 years and now Vacaville for past few years. Here it is in case you haven’t seen it! Gorgeous!
