This was found today a Appleton East Year book with Dafoe and my friend Joe Maas who were in the same grade 1972. Cool
Williem Dafoe is a famous actor that came from Appleton,wi , my home town, and my best friend went to school with him and was in some classes with Dafoe. found this at st vinnes in Appleton,wi for $2.50, I did also go to this same high school as well.

i have an interesting story about Willem Dafoe. on my 23rd birthday, i was trying to fly to Thailand for a few months and the plane was going to stop in Manilla, but the revolution was happening - Marcos left that day and everything was closed down. I met all the other people who were flying that day too - and it just happened to be the full cast of Platoon along w/ Oliver Stone etc... We drank beer and hung out and finally we were able to get out of LAX on our way to Manilla. Right after we got there, the airport closed for 5 days and i was stuck there and got to explore Manilla on my own during the revolution. One of the guys who made a big impression on me was Willem Dafoe. Enigmatic comes to mind.
