Falstaff Americana Panorama Sign C-68A by Thomas A. Schultz in Morton Grove, IL. Still scrolls what looks to be the original scenery, gets hot, still looking to see if the clock works. Found similar signs with different phrase at the bottom. Found in our grandpa’s basement! Any idea on rarity?

Cool clock! It should probably get 'slightly' hot anyway, presumably having a couple small fluorescent tubes and their ballast inside for the lighting. The clock motor shouldn't make much of any heat (running or not) if it is 120V, I wouldn't know about whatever motor or mechanism makes the scenery scroll. (up/down, or sideways?)

I'd love to see another pic or two showing what's inside it if that's possible, you can add up to three more to this showing! :-) :-) :-)
