    I’ve bought a 4th ss ww2 era browning does anyone have any more information about it, I’ve read up about the 4th ss group but not sure how they got the guns

      I would be very skeptical of the SS engraving. Lots of hoax out there.

      Agree with buss. Also — don’t know why a weapon (with serial #) would have full unit markings at all.

      I would suspect it even if it were stamped, but custom engraving ? Right ! Afraid this is custom faking. Actually lowers the value to a serious collector who might need that model. Sorry !
