Picked up a really detailed wooden clock today. Just felt like sharing ;). Believe to be approximately 1920 but if anyone knows anything about this clock, please let me know.

I presume you already have some information that makes you think the clock is 1920s vintage. Apparently, a serial number doesn't date an Elliott clock. A street name does:

Thank you for the information, there is a serial number at the bottom of this one, as you can see in the new photos that I have put up. It is fully working and the tick tock is lovely to listen to. You can tell it is a good quality!

Unfortunately, a serial number (it looks like "2937 11 83") apparently doesn't date Elliott London clocks, and the information on the back panel ("MADE IN ENGLAND") doesn't give a street address. :-(
At least we can tell from your added pictures that this is a mantle clock.
Here's a E.W Payne/Elliott London mantel clock with the same style of face, and back panel (although the cabinet is stone instead of wood):

I wonder if Bromley is significant? Very interesting, I have seen the stone clock as well, maybe someone has re-cased the face? Thank you for your help.
Aly, Bromley is significant in the sense that E. W. Payne Elliott operated a store in Bromley for over a hundred years (1910-2013).
How much of that time span intersected with Elliott London might yield a clue. That is, for how many years did E. W. Payne contract with Elliott London to make clocks?
I'm still interested in what makes you think your clock is of 1920s vintage.
Very interesting, my 1920's comment was really a guess but wonder if even though serial numbers are not a way to date the clock it could be 1883?

The bottom of the clock is stamped “28-41” with the last two numbers being the date it was made (1941).

Unfortunately, your theory is that the "83" in the serial number stamped into the case of your clock might represent the year 1883 doesn't square with the timeline of E. W. Payne's tenure in Bromley (1910-2013).
