Pictured are three vintage pulp lanterns, all made in the USA sometime between the 1930's and the 1940's. All have the original, fragile, thin paper inserts. These were actually used because there is hardened wax inside the lanterns. Talk about fire hazard, it is amazing these lanterns are still around.
Crazy eyed one in the third pic is awesome!!!
