Just picked up this bike a week ago ... the tires were flat and it was very rusted. It was in pretty neglected shape. I spent alot of elbow grease on this bike to remove the rust and polish up the paint. The rack on the back of the bike was tweeked so I had to straighten the rack before installing on the bike. I wanted to restore the bike without repainting hoping that the bike would eventually be worth more in its "original" condition. I need to get or complete a few more items on this bike before it will be complete. I need to get the BF Goodrich Silvertown Blackwall front tire with the BF Goodrich tube. I also need to get only one pedal to make the bike totally original. I did replace the seat as the seat that was on it when I got the bike was cracked and there was no padding in the seat. I did find a newer seat to leave on there for now, but I am hoping that I can restore the old seat and reinstall it on this bike. I am anxious to get this bike 100% original so that I can enjoy riding it around town.
