Another exciting old bottle with original contents and label. And likely over 100 years old. Also not worth a huge amount of money. Probably because there are not many collectors of Ward & Co. products. My guess is that this is early 20th century as it does not have a screw top cap and has a cork instead. Earlier bottles have an uneven bottle lip as they were made by bottle blowers. This one is smooth aside from where there were some chips.
Anyone want to make to make some orange flavored icing?

fortapache, Whew. So glad it's "turpeneless." };-)

Um whut? I hadda look it up:

      *snip*

Terpenes are major biosynthetic building blocks. Comprising more than 30,000 compounds, these unsaturated hydrocarbons are produced predominantly by plants, particularly conifers.

      *snip*

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terpene

      https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/d-limonene

Apparently, some people are sensitive to terpenes, hence, "terpeneless" citrus flavorings.

FYI, trying to research terpenes was surprisingly difficult, because search results are inundated with references to cann*bis.

Historically, cann*bis hasn't been a major interest for me; however, I found the recent news that consumption of cann*bis in any form might not be good for cardio-vascular health...disheartening.

Its potential as an actual aid for various health problems like epilepsy or chronic pain was the one thing I had previously found encouraging. :-(

Whoops, not "turpeneless, " but "terpeneless."

Thank you very much keramikos. That is a lot of research.

      fortapache, You're welcome. :-)

It really wasn't that much research once I got past the initial stumbling block of all the cann*bis search result hits. That kind of took me by surprise, because I've never been a direct user thereof, and thus had no idea it was a 'thing.' };-)

I just had to be a bit more specific in my searches.
