Introduced in 1947, the colorful and boldly modern Town and Country dinnerware line was the only Red Wing Pottery line designed by acclaimed industrial designer Eva Zeisel. The original production run ended in 1956. The 'schmoo' shaped salt and pepper shakers were briefly reproduced in the mid 1990s.

    Hi Chadakoin:
These are beautiful, and I love the schmoos. If you have not seen it already, check out the first image in the interview with Larry Roschen, who specializes in Red Wing dinnerware. That image is also of a Zeisel piece.

    Thanks!
