(1 item)
Just bought this in a consignment shop in Miami for $10!
From researching it, I believe it is a 1/43 scale model of a Lockheed Turboprop Electra and the desktop versions were "gifts" to help secure govt. contracts or for certain contractors or pilots and only a handful were made.
It has the manf. tag on the plane's belly that says, Manufactured By 'Raise Up' Rotterdam Holland
I collect an eclectic variety of things; mostly vintage toys, watches and Morgan silver dollars - but this is up there in the cool factor.
Am interested in finding out if there is a company that restores these? The bottom is perfect, but the top looks like it was in the way while an office was being painted!
Thanks.

Buffalo Airways in Yellowknife, NWT, use these planes along with other vintage "piston pounder" planes. Buffalo Joe would love one of these sitting on his desk.
I now have one of these I purchased in December almost in mint condition and also
the memo notes are still there... You were lucky to find this.. I would have bought yours also.
Mine just has a bit of wear to the blue paint on the logo
It is one of my favourites.
Here is the ebay link of when I bought mine. Hopefully you can still see the photos, I will post mine soon also. The info on this plane is on this site below:
