My husband calls me a "dish addict". I love this pattern. It's not one I've seen too often. Is it a full set?
Hi Melissa. I've got 6 each of dinner plates, bread & butter plates, berry bowls and cups with saucers. I also found one other squarish plate that is the same pattern but a different colour. It really is a great pattern!
It looks fabulous when it's all displayed together as you did in your pics. It is an awesome pattern.
I have such found memories of this pattern. My Mother has given me our families complete set. It's really interesting that I have always loved these dishes growing up. We used these only if we had company. The plates are a very unique shape that you cannot even see in the pictures.
These don't appear to be Franciscan....but a french copy of the popular original. The Franiscan Starburst is not round, it's an irregular eliptical shape.
I Love it! I have Star Glow & Temporama Patterns. Dave
Thank you for your thoughts, tclp. I appreciate it and will spend more time researching both the originals and the copy. I'm really enjoying the learning element of vintage and antique treasures.
