This trench art P-38 has aluminum wings and tail section.
It is unusual in that it has a double deck base. The top shell is a USN 40mm casing and the bottom is a US Army 105mm casing.
The cigarette rests are from 1944 dated Australian coins.
This is a typical Pacific Theater souvenir of WW2.
