here's a sign i found in the trash behind an old gas station which has been closed for over 20 years in east oakland, ca. i haven't been able to figure out the writing on the shirt - it looks like that part was over painted w/ white paint. anybody have any idea what it said or the value of this? the feet have rotted off, but otherwise it's in pretty good condition. i have it in a display in my house w/ a whole bunch of other gas station / mechanic things i've collected. i'm about to take it down to put up a different display. i call him 'Bob the gas man'.
