I went on a service call today and worked in a older gentlemans garage and I saw this beautiful 40 Ford Coupe with 7 carbs 327 motor and behind that one was a stock 40 ford coupe I think he said it was a 60 hp motor.
Had me drooling on these cars always wanted one.
I saw the man who owned the fords the other day and he said he would take $100 000 for both cars a little to much for my blood.

I think the stock 40 Ford flathead v8 was 60 hp.
That is weird, seven, not six or eight? must have been a hand crafted manifold...
I dont know I had a hard time working he started up the car and it sounded good.
That is awesome!
I hope you made him an offer !
i cant dial in 1 carb. imagine trying to sync. 7!!! wonder how he set up the throttle?? Im with pops_abides, 7 single bbl. roch. carbs. on an 8 cyl.!?!? 1-6 look pretty cool, 7 reminds me of a bowl with 6 blue M&Ms & 1 brown.LOL . Hea, it runs good, thats more than i can say about MOST of mine!
look at the 6 nice and clean and the one in the middle is dirty inside I wonder if he is just using the 1 and the others are just for show?
