I bought this clock from an estate sale in Georgia. It hung over the mantle and was covered in dust. It is walnut with two doors which cover the top and bottom of the clock. It has a brass sun design in the center of the porcelain face with the same design on the pendulum below. It may be a Junghans but still checking it out for manufacturer. The deceased owner was married to a military man who probably brought the clock home from his overseas travels just like my father did when he was stationed in Germany. It has the black forest leaves at each corner on the top portion as pictured. I think it is an 8 day clock with spring mechanism.
I welcome any information on the clock from some of you who have more knowledge on the item.
Thank You!

Hi,
A great find! The clock is probably from the 1870's and made by the German maker Gustav Becker (1817-1885).
