This George Jensen tankard was purchased in a Georg Jensen shop in Sydney during the late 70's. I have never seen another like it. I was told the metals were copper and silver which kept hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. There are no silver marks but it does tarnish like silver. Is this a rare item and what would be its value?

hi - rather rare item - design by Henning Koppel ( HK ) around 1960
We were looking to sell this...we have NO idea of the price. It's truly a lovely item and hardly ever used! Any thoughts are welcome.
Cheers
Fern
The Mug is from the Taverna Line of Cookware designed by Henning Koppel. Koppel designed a series of stainless steel, copper and silver-plated pots and pans in 1971. The line was called "Taverna.". This cookware was very popular.
