Today I would like to share this large silver serving tray. It measures 27” x 18” and was cast with an ornate fruit motif around the outside. It also sits on four ornate thick legs and appears to be very well made. I feel the best part is the engraving. As you see from the pics, it says the following.
“Presented To Mrs. James Todd By Ladies Of Fourth Presbyterian Church, Boston, March 23rd, 1910”
She was the wife of Reverend James Todd, the engraved gold headed cane I posted several days ago.
