This is the original version of the Ansco Memo, its wooden body stained and varnished, with brass fittings. This wood & brass version was only produced for a couple of months, around December 1926 - January 1927.

That is a beautiful camera. I'm waiting and looking for one myself. The wood as opposed to the leather wraped black is more rare and much more appealing.That is a fine camera.
You are a unique collector, I have one I would like u to see, I will put it on Show & Tell soon as I put it out of storage. Your gonna like it. I also recently found a real to real that is so heavy I can hardley lift it.
