This is the original version of the Ansco Memo, its wooden body stained and varnished, with brass fittings. This wood & brass version was only produced for a couple of months, around December 1926 - January 1927.

That is a beautiful camera. I'm waiting and looking for one myself. The wood as opposed to the leather wraped black is more rare and much more appealing. That is a fine camera.
