Well, it's good to see that not much has changed! Post card is titled
"We are looking for a sweetheart".....back when I was in the service, at 18 or 19 years old, a young man only had ONE thing on the brain.....seems that these lads were thinking the same thing!
Nice post card post marked 1911, shows 2 US Marines, one wearing his dress blues (minus the red piping on cap & tunic) and the other Marine wearing the summer service Khaki uniform. The style of these uniforms place this photo to be taken around 1898 to 1902.
Post card is written to a young lady, in hopes of a correspondence in return, from "a friend".....I will let your imagination fill in the rest!
