Today's trip down memory lane find: A Comdial, military desk phone, dated 1977 on the bottom. Still has the old DD Form 2056 (1974) on the handset. I had to have put hundreds of those stickers on during my career. I'll never forget that form number for as long as I live. I plugged it in when I got home, and it still works. Do I need it? No. Will I use it? No. Does it bring back a lot of memories? Yes! And for $1.46 at Goodwill, I wasn't going to pass it up.
