Thank You pw-collector !!
They get Quad-Loves from me, lol
The Rand McNally Junior Elf books were printed from 1947-1986. I think the copyright date for the Little Deer book was 1956 and first published in Junior Elf form in 1961 with many printings afterward. Is there a list on the back of the book with the other titles in the Junior Elf Series? Where the #8080 shows up on the list would help figure the printing date. If it is last on the list, then it is the 1961 printing.
#8080 is the seventh one from the bottom. The total listed is twenty four.
I think you have the 1966 printing then, based on the 15 cent price printed on the front. On the 1969 printing the price went up to 19 cents.
Thank's for the info. Tony !!
