Sybren Valkema Vase designed for the Leerdam Glass Factory in 1961 as part off "De Industrielen"serie. 27 cm high top 5 cm and bottom 7 cm .
In 1961 the factory asked all its designers (willem Heesen,Andries Copier, Floris Meydam, Sybren Valkema And Gerard Thomassen ) to create a set of modern vases
In total 40 vases were designed and made called "De Industrielen" they were made in the colors helioyellow,emeraldgreen and zirkon red some models were also made in a mild bottlegreen ( like this one).

So tall, so elegant and the bowl has a sheen, a roundness too that is 'different'.

Industrielen series seems to be beautiful things! This color is something special.
