This is a pair of Venetian Art glass dancers. Each has gold inclusions as is typical of Italian work.

They are more modern and date from the 1950s- 1970s.

They are in excellent condtion.

Reproduction of these images in any form is prohibited.

Definitely one of the best pairs of the 'cortegiani' that I've seen.
Look at the iridescence on the bustle, the sheen of his overtight pants!
The cane is just wonderful in itself.
The coquettish looks on their faces, the slight turn of his head....
    Delightful.

    How beautiful...
Its really a shame that the market has gone down on these Venetian figures... They were really valuable before the internet, we got $6,500 at auction for a pair of blackamoor candlesticks by Venini in the early 90's. Probably not worth 1/3 of that now

Thanks stillwater-- I think everything has suffered in the internet age. And the recent economy didn't help much either.
