Does anyone here own this Wis. Nat. Gd. group? If so please contact me.

I recently placed an order for this group on a dealer web site and shortly afterwards was refunded my money and told that the group was sold long ago! Having made such a screw up myself in the past I have no problem with the dealer or the medal group's current owner. If the group happens to be for sale that would be great and I would be interested in buying it but the main reason for my quest is information. As some here may know, I am publishing a book on Wisconsin medals which will be out in about one month. This grouping has at least 2 if not 3 unlisted medals in it and while it is too late to put them in the book an addendum page is still possible for a very short period of time. I would need the physical descriptions ( size, weight, metal and inscriptions ) to do this. It would be to the advantage of the owner to have these medals recorded and I may be able to provide some background information for the group that the current owner may not know.

We know you are writing a book on these awards & hope you can find them. Ebay won't give you the purchaser's address, I presume. Can you contact the seller, explain the situation, and ask that he contact the buyer & give your reason for asking that he contact you. There has to be a way! What are your chances of the buyer being on C/W. Probably less than 1%.

Thanks bb but this was not an ebay sale. I also put this question out on 3 other forums for military and medal collectors. so collectors are very private and will not respond. But I tried.
