    Hello! Mystery box! Maybe for brushes, like a travel writing kit? Only hallmark is K 18 and symbol, 6.5 inch X 3 inch, it is pretty dirty! Should I polish it??? Any help appreciated!! I am sure it is inlaid with gold, or I believe so?

      I would leave things be. Cleaning of anything should only be done by an expert. I think its a lovely box! Beautiful!
