I found this single 6 1/2" tall reading elephant bookend at Goodwill. He's heavy even though he's hollow on the inside. The back is flat and he probably had a buddy but there was only one of course. It's stamped" Made in USA" on the base at the back and also has a circle with a "C" in the middle which I figure is for copyright. The cashier asked me if I was a Republican which went over my head at first. I said no.. as I'm pretty much "apolitical". I just liked the elephant.. lol. -Mike-
