more pictures,,,,,,,,,,, of the lamp hope thease are ok ,anthony,i have never seen a lamp like this anywhere with is own fuse box,

The street lights get their power tapped right off of the main power lines. Without the fuse it would basically have unlimited amperage feeding the light.
Nice old light for sure.
