It started in earnest after I stopped my job as a school teacher, and had time on my hands. First Teddie Bears, then Dolls, then depression glass, then costume jewelry brooches. Having had a doll hospital, it was just natural that I should collect dolls. Of all the things I've collected I think dolls were the most fun, and the most visibly connected to various historical periods. (Read more)
