I have one also that I found at Goodwill a few years ago. I remember finding the excerpt from the book while I was trying to find any info, but found nothing else.
Someone has since confirmed it to be Fratelli Fanciullacci, prob early 1970's.

Did you find out more details on the marks on this ring. I have a a silver charm that has similar marks -mine has the : 7 (and the upside down anchor) - I can't figure out the mark before the 925 ye...

With the elk you would think it's most likely to be a man's accessory. Maybe a mustache curler? The initials look like EJ to me.
The lion is the London Assay office where the silver is verified. The S indicates the year, but will need a clear picture of the second symbol to be able to date it correctly. Is it a Leopard's head...
