So, where's the mystery ?
I THNIK I have gotten the MATCHBOX COLLECTING BUG!! What is the BEST (one or two) books/mags) I should buy to learn about them and MORE IMPORTANTLY, what price to pay for them. From what little I know, I think I want to collect the earlist ones(not necessarily cars) in boxes in like new to mint condition.
I'm getting out of the model RR collecting and they have several PRICE GUIDES, ETC so it was fairly easy to determine ones value, depending on condition, age, etc.
Last but not least is that I live in Orange County, (So CAL) and was also wondering if there are shows just for Matchbox Collectors where you can buy and sell and mingle with fellow collectors.
Appreciate any suggestions/guidence any of you may have on this sugject.

I went searhing and found: mboxcommunity.com on the web, it seems to have links to a lot of different collector sites for you . Enjoy and have fun.
I LOVE the Marx tractor. Also, I'm more of a Hot Wheels guy than Matchbox, but those older ones are still pretty cool and display great. I also really like the Structo wrecker. Those are definitely valuable and hard to find.
