    BOUGHT THIS BELL THIS WEEKEND . IT HAS UMPTEEN LAYERS OF PAINT ON IT BUT THE MECHANICS ARE STILL OPERATIONAL AND THE BELL HAS A LOUD CLEAR PEALE. MANUFACTURER'S PAT DATE OF APRIL 28TH 1874. ABOUT 6 COATS OF PAINT.
