    It always amazes me the stuff that shows up in South Dakota. Can anyone identify what kind of car this cap may have went on? I am guessing something in the 20s such as a Cadillac,Buick, or maybe Hupmobile? Cap is threaded and measures 2.5" inside diameter and 3" outside diameter and is knurled as shown in picture. Thanks for any info!!!

      Thanks PhilDavidAlexanderMorris. Yes I am aware these were an accessory but the cap itself I believe was car specific. Just trying to date the piece by what radiator off of what car would require a cap of this size. Thanks again,Prairie.
