I can make out MURANO and D'ARTE on the watermark under this Cartoccio "Paper Bag" vase along with the word ''ice'. I assume that it could be by Seguso since they called their wares "Vetri D'Arte". Would anyone recognize who could have designed this vase if it is indeed by Seguso. It is a light Amethyst color and has a finger like design around the base. It measures over 9" across and 12 1/4" at the highest point. Thanks everyone! RER (BOB) LOUMANAL

Someone suggested that it could also be by Fulvio Bianconi of VENINI but his glass was always striped with colored glass from what I have been able to see. RER

funny enough i believe it's not even Murano, well if I identified it correctly that is.
look at this info (http://www.fossilfly.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=364) and this label (http://www.fossilfly.com/Forums/picture.php?albumid=5&pictureid=33) full label says "Arte Murano ICET Made in Venezuela".
But I think it is nothing to worry about, it's still a pretty vase.
I looked it up and It is quite probably ICET so you are right on. The quality is excellent on this vase. We learn everyday here on CW don't we!! Thanks MacArt!!
