1898-9 "Creta Rusticana"

1898-9 Commission number 346/686 "Creta Rusticana", designed by and for Max Emanuel & Co. of London. It was also listed under Series II, Production Number 268, but the paper pattern for that number was not found in the archives. Max Emanuel & Co. would have sent the design to the Loetz factory and indicated how many they wanted made and in what color or style decoration. A great deal of what Loetz made was commissioned works for Bakalowits, or M. Emanuel.
